Perryman’s advanced breakdown facility is capable of converting titanium ingots up to 33" (838.2 mm) diameter to various sizes and configurations down to 4" (101.6 mm) round billet. 

The mill employs a highly automated rolling process that is more efficient than the forge press traditionally used to break down ingots. It is the first of its kind dedicated to titanium.

Installed in 2008, our breakdown facility is located in California, PA on the same campus as our melting facilities, creating efficient material flow and melt-to-finish product lead times. The facility is as large as 1.5 football fields.
